My Journey
Our journey into applied behavior analysis started from a deeply personal place. Our child was diagnosed with high-intensity behavior and profound developmental delays at a young age. We were overwhelmed and heartbroken. At that time, there was limited awareness about ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), and the recommendation was to transition him into an institutional setting. We felt a mix of fear, hope, and frustration as we tried to navigate this challenging path and find the best support for him. It was a difficult period, but finding a therapeutic home for our child gave us a glimmer of hope. After settling into this new routine, we had to move, which was another major change. This experience inspired me to open my own clinic to support other families who were facing similar challenges. Running the clinic allowed me to turn our personal struggles into a way to help others. Eventually, I decided to retire from clinic ownership to focus on launching ClearPath Behavior Solutions. Today, through ClearPath, I’m dedicated to BCBA mentorship and organizational behavior management coaching, using the empathy and clarity from our own journey to guide and support others in their paths.

I'm Bethany Coop, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) dedicated to guiding success in behavior analysis. With a strong educational background and extensive professional experience, I specialize in BCBA mentorship, organizational behavior management coaching, and clinical leadership in telehealth, empowering individuals and organizations to reach their fullest potential.

My Journey
​
I hold an MA in Developmental Psychology and an ABA Graduate Certification from Penn State. These academic achievements laid a solid foundation for my career in behavior analysis and continue to shape the expert guidance I provide to clients, supervisees, and organizations.
Professional Experience
​
I have over a decade of experience in behavior analysis and related fields. Currently, I serve as Clinical Manager of Telehealth Services at Step-In Autism Services of Alaska, where I oversee the development, implementation, and supervision of high-quality ABA services delivered virtually. In this role, I guide treatment teams, ensure clinical fidelity, and expand access to care for families across diverse communities.
Previously, as the owner and CEO of Over the Rainbow Behavioral Consulting, I created and implemented company policies in alignment with state and federal laws and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s ethical standards. As an assistant instructor in behavior analysis, I developed presentation materials, provided constructive feedback, and mentored students in applied practice.
In addition, I have presented at national conferences, contributed to podcasts and webinars, and advocated for policy reform at both the state and federal levels.

Professional Appointments and Affiliations

I serve on the Colorado Association for Behavior Analysis Board of Directors and contribute to work groups and subcommittees focused on public policy and licensure. My professional affiliations include the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and the Colorado Association for Behavior Analysts.
